Terms of Use

Last updated: 2 October 2026

These terms cover how you use the softwareforge.cc website and the client portal. They don't replace your individual client contract — that governs scope, charges, delivery, and ownership for your specific project.

Using this website

By browsing softwareforge.cc you agree not to:

  • Use the site in any way that's illegal, harassing, or harmful.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its infrastructure, or any user's account.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the site's normal operation.
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute site content without permission.

If you submit material (content, files, or other information) to us through this website or the portal, you confirm that you have the right or permission to do so.

This website may link to third-party sites or services. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their content or handling of your information.

Client portal

The client portal lets authorised clients view project status and invoices, and submit and follow up support tickets. To use it:

  • You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • Don't share your account with anyone else.
  • Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

We may suspend portal access if we have reasonable grounds to believe an account is being used in breach of these terms or your client contract.

Intellectual property

The website content, design, and code are owned by softwareForge or its licensors. You may view and print reasonable copies for your own use, but you may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Client project deliverables are governed by your individual client contract.

Acceptable use of services

When we build software or tools for you, your use of those deliverables is governed by your client contract. These website terms don't create additional service-level commitments, warranties, or payment obligations beyond what's in that contract.

Disclaimers

The website and portal are provided "as is" and "as available". We don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer guarantees or protections.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll update the date above and, where practicable, notify portal users. Continued use of the website or portal after changes means you accept the updated terms.
